Plumber in Saint-Hubert
Saint-Hubert is a borough of Longueuil rather than a separate town — but it is large and varied enough that plumbing there is nothing like plumbing in Vieux-Longueuil.
The reason is historical. Saint-Hubert merged with the Cité de Laflèche in 1971, then grew from 37,000 to over 82,000 residents in thirty years. That growth in successive waves is why two neighbouring streets can have systems of completely different ages.
We serve the whole borough from Boucherville, as we do the rest of Longueuil.

Worth knowing in Saint-Hubert
Growth in waves, from 37,000 to 82,000 residents
After the 1971 merger with the Cité de Laflèche, Saint-Hubert grew from 37,000 to over 82,000 residents in thirty years, through residential projects such as the Parc de la Cité. In practice the age of the piping depends on the sector rather than the borough: a 1970s neighbourhood and a recent development do not raise the same problems.

The Saint-Hubert parish gained civil autonomy on 17 January 1863, becoming the third village to emerge from the old Longueuil seigneury after Longueuil and Saint-Lambert. The original village core is therefore among the oldest built fabric in the sector — that is where the oldest cast-iron drains and water services are found.

After the exceptional rainfall of 13 September, the City of Longueuil called Saint-Hubert residents to a meeting on 3 April 2023 at 7 p.m., in the council chamber at 4250 chemin de la Savane, to present the state of the sewer networks and its resilience measures. That is a sign basement backups are a recognised issue there, not an isolated incident.
