Is a dripping tap really urgent?
It is not an emergency, but it is not trivial either. A constant drip means water lost continuously all year, and if it is hot water you are paying to heat it too. It is typically the kind of simple repair worth grouping with other small jobs in a single visit.
Can I do the repair myself?
Some minor work is within reach of a homeowner. In Québec, however, plumbing work performed for others must be carried out by a contractor holding an RBQ licence, and work affecting supply, drainage or venting has specific Construction Code requirements. A botched repair often ends up costing more than the original call.
How do I get a price for a repair?
Describe the problem by phone or through the quote form. If you can, email a photo of the fitting or fixture as well: it often means arriving with the right part on the first visit, which avoids a second trip.
